What is it that sets this product apart from the rest? Ease of use is definitely one aspect that speaks in the Keurig brewer's favor. While many modern coffee machines have some rather complex instructions and some rather disastrous results if they are not followed, the Keurig Coffee Machine is simplicity itself. To start off with, you make sure that the reservoir is full of water and that the K Cup, which holds your coffee, is sitting in the holder. You close the lid, press a button and you are assured a perfect cup of coffee each time. It is this reliability that has made the Keurig brewers so popular and such a fixture in both homes and offices. Even the K Cups that are designed for use with brewers like the Keurig models have a great deal of cachet on the market. Green Mountain Coffee produces K Cups, and they have an excellent reputation when it comes to the quality of their products. Green Mountain Coffee actually bought Keurig in order to control the manufacture of these brewers, which means that you can buy a Keurig K cup coffee brewer confident in the fact that you will have a steady supply of good K Cup coffee through Green Mountain Coffee. Timothy's World Coffee and Gloria Jeans are the two other coffee sellers that have the rights to produce K Cups. When you are thinking of getting a Keurig Coffee Machine, keep in mind who will be using it. There are several different models, so make sure that you get the one that suits you the best. Take a look at the three models of the Keurig Coffee Machine below! Keurig B40
The Keurig B40 was the first Keurig Coffee Machine available on the market, and retailing for around 100 dollars, it is both the cheapest model and the most primitive. This by no means, however, means that it makes bad coffee. Far from it, the technology that is used for the B40 is precisely the same as that used for the later models. It brews one cup size - 7.25 ounce and features an automatic shut off feature if the machine isn't used in two hours. It also has a removable 48 ounce water reservoir with a water level sensor, and a plastic drip tray for easy clean up. Keurig B60![]() Sitting squarely in the middle of the price range, the most popular Keurig Coffee Machine is the Keurig B60. The speed with which coffee is prepared is impressive. From dropping the K Cup in and pressing the button, you'll find that you will only wait about three minutes before you have a cup of coffee ready to be drank. It offers three brew sizes - 5.25 ounce, 7.25 ounce and a 9.25 ounce for travel mugs. The blue backlit LCD display is also a useful feature on this model. The reservoir holds about 48 ounces, making the need to refill it less frequent, and you'll also find that there is a light that flashes when the water level dips too low. You'll also find that this model has two settings for temperature, letting you decide if you want your coffee at a piping hot 192 F or a cooler 187 F. Keurig B70![]() Newest, sleekest and most pricey, the Keurig B70 has a few features that set it apart from the earlier models. With a reservoir that holds 60 ounces and a selection of four brew sizes that either model that came before it, the Keurig B70 is quickly establishing itself as one of the best single-cup machines on the market when you are serious about getting your coffee fix. If you share a house with many coffee drinkers, this might be one of the best solutions for you. There is a travel mug size that slides in at 9.25 ounces, and above that size, which is the highest that the B60 offers, is an 11.25 ounce brew if you want to sip a large brew slowly. It is important, however to make sure that the K Cup you use will match the amount of water that will be used; otherwise, you'll find that your coffee is a bit thin and washed out. K Cups![]() K Cups are prepackaged coffee used for the Keurig brewers. They contain enough coffee for one cup. When you insert a K cup into the brewer and close the lid, the needle in the brewer pierces the K cup with small holes. This allows the water that is forced down to go through the hole in the cup resulting in fresh, filtered coffee in your cup. There's no clean up needed with the K cups, no grinders needed, and it's small enough you can take them with you when you travel, or have one in your office. K Cups come in Regular and Extra Bold. The extra bold is a slightly more money but you're getting around 25% more coffee. Online, you can purchase the packs of 25 for around $10.00. The K cups will cost you approximately .40 cents per cup. With one standard K Cup you will brew five 7.25 ounce servings. The extra bold will give you that much in the travel mug size also. Of course if you're a tea or hot cocoa drinker, this will also fit your needs with the variety of teas they offer. There are many reasons to think about getting a Keurig Coffee Machine, but the name of the game is convenience and taste. With those two factors solidly in mind, you'll soon see why so many people have decided that this K Cup coffee solution is the one for them. If you are on your own or living with just one other person who's not really into coffee, consider the Keurig B40, while if you've got a family that doesn't shy away from six or eight cups of coffee in the morning, consider getting the B70. |
